Welcome to 2024! Thank you to everyone who browsed the website and/or have ordered beautiful iris from Rising Star Iris in 2023!

I am slowly adding iris I will have for sale this year. I will be able to get more flowers added in the coming weeks, plus I will be adding new colors as well.

*PLEASE NOTE: After many issues with incorrect shipping charges, I will be accepting payments by check this year -mailed to me- or, I can generate an invoice and email to you using PayPal. This lets you make your purchase with a credit or debit card and will reduce charges on shipping that the website was unable to do correctly.  Send me your order via email with your address and zip code so I can give you the correct shipping amount…whether you choose to pay by check or PayPal! My email is xj.l.solizx@att.net. If you choose to mail a check I’ll give you my address to mail your check -made out to Rising Star Iris. Or, paying through PayPal will be the same, except that I am telling them what the shipping should be and emailing you an invoice. Thank you! This saves you money!

*The following information is for first time buyers of iris: For those new to buying iris, they are purchased in the spring to reserve your plant and dug in fall. Digging in fall allows the plant to rest after the bloom period in order to develop the new buds for next year’s blooms as mentioned above.  I dig orders first come, first served. Email me with any questions you have.

Rising Star Iris continues to grow and sell hardy iris in North Central Texas. We cannot control the crazy Texas weather, and we occasionally experience losses due to it and may need to make substitutions in an order. I will notify you if your order is affected to see what substitute you may want or if you prefer, send a refund.

I sell a few ‘unnamed’ field iris due to loss of tags OR because the iris were grown by my mother or grandmother and I just don’t know the names. Be sure to consider these beautiful field iris.

I am a small Texas business and many varieties sell out quick!

Shipping: Iris are dug in fall  and your plants are shipped PriorityMail which typically arrives in 1-3 days. When they arrive, open your box and allow the plants to cool down and also check the content for accuracy. (I double check each order but mistakes can happen) I also include bonus iris based on the dollar amount spent. NOTE: Larger rhizomes are typically placed on the bottom, so there is no specific packing order by names, only size.  Thanks, Lisa
